My weekend started off with a hard drive crash!

In the world of creating websites, things do happen with sites, hardware, clients and just about anything imaginable. Computers are not perfect, expect things to go wrong and have a back-up policy in place.

Advise to anyone wanting to build websites for a living - exhibit lot’s of patience, back-up and don’t give up.

My trusty laptop was due for an upgrade and I did buy a ‘My Book’ external hard drive with tons of space over the weekend.

Building your website based on someone else’s images and content is a big no-no! Yes it is simple to copy and paste content from another website, but in time, you may be found out!

When thinking of content for your website, keep it original is the golden rule. This applies to images and content. Someone else’s animated banner will not work on your site, it’s their colors, it’s their message.
