Start a Blogger Journal

Part of the indexing strategy for your new website or any existing
website is creating a Blogger weblog.
Why another blog?
I thought I already created one back when I set up WordPress?
A number of reasons and you may not see the benefits immediately, but
believe it or not, good Blogger blogs get indexed in the search engines.
In a matter of minutes I created a new blog and with their default
templates I can add RSS feeds, Google Adsense, links and more!
Links?
Yes, part of the indexing strategy to have others links to you …
moderately. Too many link may cause flags to be raised and then you’re
in trouble.
Also, Blogger sits on a different server than your website. Links coming
in from a different server or location also help as well. To be
discussed further in detail.
Also, it’s part of the Google family. Ties in nicely with your gmail and
Adsense monetization account.
Lastly, with Blogger you can easily post to the blog via email, whereas
with WordPress.com it is not possible and with your custom Wordpress
blog it takes a bit to set up.
Explore Blogger, review their
templates, customize and add page elements to the templates, easily
insert Adsense code and you are off and running with an additional
source for external links coming in to your website.
Here is a simple example of development journal I created ages ago and
simply forgot about.

The purpose of the development journal in my case is to post items that
I find through the day in regards to PHP, web development and affiliate
programs. Nothing fancy, but it gives you an ideas of the simple
capabilities of blogger.
As you can see, I’ve imported the RSS feed from SimpleWebsiteGuide.com
to preview on the main page of the Blogger website.
All this was set up within 20 minutes.
